Zambia’s Economic Challenges and Opportunities – Economist Chisanga
Economic analyst Mr. Kelvin Chisanga has urged Zambians to embrace hard work and prayer in the face of the country’s current economic difficulties.
Mr. Chisanga pointed to a confluence of challenges, including food insecurity, fuel instability, unpredictable weather patterns, foreign exchange volatility, power deficits, and water shortages affecting both human consumption and livestock.
“These are not easy times,” he said, emphasizing the need for a national response to these “perfect storms” impacting the country’s fiscal health.
However, Mr. Chisanga also highlighted Zambia’s significant potential. The country’s rich natural resources, he argued, could be harnessed to create a “synchronous effect” that stimulates economic growth.
