MTN Zambia Marks 20 Years with Travis Greene’s “Made A Way” Anniversary Concert

MTN Zambia is celebrating 20 years of connection, innovation, and community impact with a powerful partnership that blends faith and music. As part of its anniversary celebrations, the telecom giant has teamed up with Mainza Nation to host the highly anticipated “Made A Way” 10th Anniversary Concert headlined by international gospel star Travis Greene.

The concert is set for July 19, 2025, in Lusaka, commemorating a decade since Greene’s globally loved song “Made A Way” first inspired millions with its message of hope, resilience, and divine breakthrough. More than a music event, the concert serves as a nationwide celebration of gratitude, unity, and purpose—reflecting the values that have defined MTN Zambia’s two-decade journey.

“Payments have been a transformative part of our 20-year journey,” said Chikondi Mwanza, Head of Products and Strategy for MTN MoMo. “To celebrate, we’re offering discounted concert tickets exclusively through MoMo at our service centres in Manda Hill, Levy Mall, Cairo Mall, and East Park Mall.”

Customers using MoMo can purchase Standard tickets for K250 (instead of K500) and VIP tickets for K700 (instead of K1,000). These discounted prices are available only at the listed MTN Service Centres.

MTN Zambia CEO Abbad Reda emphasised that the company’s 20th anniversary is focused on heartfelt appreciation: “Our ‘Thank You Zambia’ campaign has already seen over 80,000 winners since May. This concert is another way we say ‘thank you’—not just with words but through meaningful moments that bring people together.”

Richard Acheampong, MTN’s Chief Consumer Officer, added: “Twenty years of MTN means 20 years of purpose and progress. Partnering on this concert reflects our belief in the power of music, faith, and community. Travis Greene’s message aligns perfectly with our brand values.”

Mainza Haambote, CEO of Mainza Nation, echoed that sentiment, noting the concert is a milestone for faith-based events in Zambia. “Faith and music have the power to uplift and unify. This partnership will touch hearts and inspire change.”
