In her address, Honourable Tambatamba expressed great pleasure in officiating at the forum, which serves as a platform for engagement between NAPSA and its members, as well as the general public.

The minister commended NAPSA for taking a proactive step in convening the event, demonstrating the authority’s commitment to transparency and engaging directly with its stakeholders.

The forum, which aligns with the 8th National Development Plan, provides an exceptional opportunity for NAPSA to interact with the public, align its operations with expectations, and identify areas for improvement in service delivery.

She also emphasized the reduction in penalty rates for late or non-remittance of contributions, aimed at encouraging job creation.

Honourable Tambatamba urged employers to continue remitting employee contributions for the protection of workers, ensuring smooth benefit claims and uninterrupted business operations.

She also appealed to the NAPSA Board of Trustees to provide transparent and accountable leadership, focusing on the growth of the institution for the benefit of its members.

In closing, the minister expressed gratitude to participants for their dedication to the cause of social security and encouraged open and productive discussions for a brighter and more secure future for all Zambians.
