French Companies Set to Transform African Digital Landscape at AfricaCom 2024

As AfricaCom 2024 kicks off from November 12 to 14 in Cape Town, Business France is set to showcase the extensive expertise of French tech companies, solidifying their role in advancing Africa’s digital transformation. 

This premier event will gather over 15,000 visitors and 400 exhibitors, highlighting the latest trends and innovations in telecommunications and digital technology across Africa. 

With its vast 4G coverage and expanding 5G network, South Africa is becoming the digital epicenter of the continent. The country’s ongoing technological advancements have attracted nearly €1.8 billion in investment in 2023 alone, driven by its robust infrastructure of 69 data centers and nine submarine cables, making it a crucial player in African telecommunications growth. 

At the France Pavilion, top French companies such as Athesi, EasyBroadcast, Ekt, Enesys, Enreach, Famoco, GateWatcher, Idea Optical, IT-Development, Kapptivate, Luxcarta, Perfwave, Splio, Summa Networks, Esokia, and Lillybelle will showcase their cutting-edge solutions in telecommunications, cybersecurity, and digital infrastructure. 

This collective effort highlights France’s commitment to Africa’s digital landscape, reinforcing its position as a trusted partner in the region. 

AfricaCom 2024 will provide a vital platform for these French companies to establish partnerships with African telecom giants such as Vodacom, MTN, and Telkom. Through personalized B2B meetings, these firms aim to develop alliances and further explore the rapidly expanding African digital market. 

Africa’s telecommunications sector is on the cusp of major transformations, driven by an increasing demand for advanced infrastructure and new technological solutions.
