Zambian Ambassador Presents Credentials to Saudi Prime Minister 

His Excellency, Mr. Duncan Mulima, Ambassador of the Republic of Zambia to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, presented his Letters of Credence to His Royal Highness, Mohammed Bin Salman Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, during a diplomatic ceremony held at the Royal Court in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The presentation ceremony, which took place on 26th March 2024, marked a pivotal moment in the diplomatic relations between Zambia and Saudi Arabia. 

Ambassador Mulima conveyed warm regards from President Hakainde Hichilema of the Republic of Zambia to His Majesty, King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the people of Saudi Arabia, extending best wishes for the upcoming month of Ramadan.

His Excellency, Mr. Mulima, expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and generous hospitality extended to him by the Saudi Government. He highlighted the commitment of Zambia to strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation with Saudi Arabia across various sectors.

In reciprocation, Prime Minister Mohammed Bin Salman Al Saud conveyed greetings from His Majesty, King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, to the Heads of States of the represented countries. 

He encouraged the newly appointed Ambassadors to leverage Saudi Arabia’s rapid growth for enhancing relations and cooperation between their respective countries and the Kingdom.

It is anticipated that the presentation of Credentials by Ambassador Mulima will further enhance the already warm bilateral relations between Zambia and Saudi Arabia. Both nations are poised to explore new avenues of collaboration and mutual benefit, fostering increased economic, cultural, and diplomatic ties.

The Embassy of the Republic of Zambia in Riyadh looks forward to facilitating productive exchanges and initiatives that will deepen the bond between the two nations for the prosperity and well-being of their peoples.
