Emirates Celebrates Eid al Fitr with Extravagant Offerings Onboard and in Lounges
As the holy month of Ramadan draws to a close, Emirates Airlines has announced its plans to commemorate Eid al Fitr in style, promising passengers an unforgettable experience filled with regional flavors, traditional delights, and captivating entertainment both onboard and in its lounges.
From April 10th to 13th, Emirates Economy Class passengers departing from Dubai will be treated to a delectable array of Eid specialties, including chicken biryani with crunchy fried onions, raisins, and cashew nuts, alongside tender lamb kibbeh labanieh served with vermicelli rice and rich laban sauce.
Premium Economy and Business Class travelers can indulge in traditional chicken mashwi el jeder, fish matfy in spiced tomato sauce, and other mouthwatering dishes, accompanied by fragrant desserts such as pistachio and hibiscus namoura or vanilla and rose mousse cake.
For those in First Class, the culinary journey reaches new heights with meticulously crafted dishes like hammour matfy and braised beef short ribs machbouse, followed by divine desserts such as vanilla and rose mousse cake with pistachio anglaise. All passengers will receive a special ‘Eid Mubarak’ treat with their meal, featuring a sweet pumpkin Asseda.
Meanwhile, in the A380 onboard lounge, passengers can indulge in Emirati pastries, Arabic coffee, and decadent desserts like pistachio cake with cream cheese or saffron and cardamom cake.
Not to be outdone, Emirates Lounges in Dubai will also be abuzz with Eid festivities on April 10th, offering First Class customers an extensive selection of Arabic delicacies including lamb ouzi and sweet treats like kunafa and bassbousa. Business Class guests can savor classic chicken khabsa and an array of desserts, while both classes can cool off with homemade Baklava and Arabic coffee ice cream from the old-fashioned ice cream cart.
Entertainment-wise, Emirates passengers are in for a treat with over 6,500 channels of on-demand entertainment, including more than 100 Arabic films, 46 channels of Arabic TV series, and an extensive collection of Arabic podcasts, audiobooks, and music.
With such lavish offerings onboard and in its lounges, Emirates ensures that passengers flying during Eid al Fitr will not only reach their destinations but also embark on a cultural and culinary journey to remember.
