Emirates Expands Premium Economy Across More Global Destinations

Emirates is set to enhance its passenger experience with a series of aircraft upgrades and new deployments, extending its Premium Economy offering to more cities worldwide.

The airline will complete the retrofit of its first high-density A380 into a three-class layout by mid-April, featuring 76 Business Class, 56 Premium Economy, and 437 Economy Class seats. 

The aircraft will initially operate between Dubai and Amman from 14 April to 31 May before moving to Prague on 1 June. By November, all 15 of Emirates’ two-class A380s are expected to be converted into the new configuration.

From March, Emirates will deploy upgraded aircraft across Europe, North America, Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and the Indian Ocean, including:

  • New York JFK – Four-class A380 from 1 April on select days, daily from 1 June.
  • Zurich – Four-class A380 from 1 March, offering over 1,500 weekly Premium Economy seats.
  • Milan & Dublin – Three-class Boeing 777-200LR with Premium Economy from May and October respectively.
  • Ho Chi Minh City & Hong Kong – Three-class retrofitted Boeing 777s and A380s from May and December.
  • Entebbe & Mauritius – New A350 and three-class Boeing 777-200LR from late March.
  • Basra & Guangzhou – Retrofitted four-class Boeing 777-300ER and A380s with Premium Economy from May and October.

The expansions reflect Emirates’ commitment to providing a consistent, high-quality travel experience across its network, allowing more passengers to enjoy the comfort of Premium Economy.
