Huawei Unveils Cloud-AI Solutions to Revolutionise Public Services

Huawei has unveiled a suite of cloud and AI-driven solutions aimed at transforming public services and enhancing digital governance worldwide. The announcement came during a high-level summit attended by government representatives and industry experts from across Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.

Li Junfeng (Wind), Vice President of Huawei and CEO of the Global Public Sector Business Unit, emphasised the company’s vision: “Driven by cloud and AI, Huawei has built a centralised, efficient, and secure cloud foundation that supports intelligent transformation of government services while enabling data aggregation, processing, and value extraction.”

At the event, Mr Hong-Eng Koh, Chief Scientist of Huawei Global Public Sector BU, unveiled the “R.I.S.E” reference architecture for National Government Cloud, offering four key solutions:

• Resilient & Reliable Infrastructure – providing secure, stable operation for critical government applications.
• Secure & Sovereign – enabling national digital security through multiple deployment models and a unified architecture for safe data storage and utilisation.
• Innovative & AI Ready – integrating applications, data, and AI platforms with government-specific intelligent agents and digital IDs.
• Enriched Ecosystem – partnering with over 100 public sector ecosystem players to accelerate intelligent transformation.

Shan Zhiguang, Director of the Informatization and Industry Development Department at China’s State Information Center, praised China’s ICT-driven public sector transformation as a model for global smart governance.

Huawei highlighted that its ongoing investment in cloud and AI technologies is central to addressing the critical challenges facing public services, enabling governments to deliver efficient, secure, and citizen-focused solutions.

The release of the National Government Cloud reference architecture signals a new era of “intelligent collaboration” in public service delivery, with Huawei committed to deepening cloud-AI integration and promoting high-quality digital development globally.
