Airtel Kenya Surpasses 24 Million Subscribers, Vows Continued Network Growth
Airtel Kenya has officially surpassed the 24 million subscriber milestone, a major achievement highlighted during the launch of its new network campaign dubbed ‘Na Bado Tunagrow’ — Swahili for “We’re Still Growing.”
Speaking at the campaign launch, Airtel Kenya Managing Director Ashish Malhotra reaffirmed the telecom giant’s commitment to continuous innovation, nationwide expansion, and customer-centered service.
“We are deeply humbled by the support of over 24 million customers who continue to believe in us. This is not the destination, it is part of a longer journey,” Malhotra said.
According to the latest Communications Authority of Kenya sector report, this milestone reflects Airtel’s sustained investment in network infrastructure, customer service touch points, and distribution systems, especially in underserved areas such as Mandera, Wajir, and Garissa. The company’s strategic expansion into remote regions is helping bridge Kenya’s digital divide.
Malhotra also highlighted Airtel Money’s growth, noting that recent platform upgrades have led to faster, more reliable financial services and increased customer trust. “We are seeing more Kenyans trusting us with their financial needs, and we continue to improve as we promote financial inclusion,” he stated.
The ‘Na Bado Tunagrow’ campaign is more than a slogan — it’s a reflection of Airtel’s ongoing journey to empower every Kenyan with modern, accessible digital services. “This is a thank you to every Kenyan who has supported our journey. We are not done. We will continue to grow, improve, and serve,” Malhotra concluded.
