Emirates Inaugurates Japan’s First Dedicated Travel Store in Osaka
Emirates has officially opened its first dedicated travel store in Japan, marking a new milestone in the airline’s presence in the region. Located in the heart of Osaka’s vibrant commercial district, the new Emirates Travel Store brings the airline’s signature hospitality and premium service directly to customers in the Kansai region.
The inauguration ceremony was led by Nabil Sultan, Emirates’ Executive Vice President – Passenger Sales and Country Management. He was joined by Mr. Hirofumi Yoshimura, Governor of Osaka Prefecture, and H.E. Shihab Alfaheem, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Japan. Senior Emirates officials, distinguished guests, and members of the media were also in attendance.
Covering 110 square meters, the Emirates Travel Store is designed to provide a personalized and luxurious customer experience. The store features a multilingual team of travel consultants offering expert support on flight bookings, destination planning, and tailor-made itineraries. The modern space exudes comfort and elegance, with soft beige lounge seating, contemporary interiors, and a warm, relaxed atmosphere.
Enhancing convenience and innovation, the store also includes a self-service kiosk, a personalized Queue Management system, and a selfie mirror with backgrounds of popular Emirates destinations – creating an immersive travel planning experience.
“Japan is a vital market for Emirates,” said Nabil Sultan during the ceremony. “The opening of our first retail store in Osaka reflects our customer-first philosophy and commitment to strengthening ties with our valued customers and partners in the Kansai region. This space allows us to engage more meaningfully with the Japanese community and make our services even more accessible.”
Emirates currently operates daily flights to Osaka Kansai, Tokyo Narita, and Tokyo Haneda, with retrofitted aircraft featuring enhanced in-flight products across its Japanese network.
The Emirates Osaka Travel Store, located at 3-2-2 Umeda, Kita-ku, Osaka, is open Monday to Friday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. It is closed on weekends and public holidays.
