ZACCI Hosts CEO Breakfast to Welcome New Members, Focus on Zambia’s Economic Priorities

The Zambia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ZACCI) hosted a high-level CEO Breakfast Meeting at Southern Sun Hotel in Lusaka to formally welcome new members and discuss national economic priorities. The event attracted key players from the business community, reinforcing ZACCI’s role as a platform for private sector engagement and economic dialogue.

Speaking on behalf of ZACCI President Mr. Anthony Kabaghe, Vice President – Services Mr. Andrew Sinyangwe reaffirmed the Chamber’s commitment to fostering a conducive business environment through strategic partnerships and advocacy.

“ZACCI is unwavering in its mission to promote private sector-led growth by engaging stakeholders and advocating for effective economic policies,” he stated.

ZACCI CEO, Mr. Elvin Nasilele, highlighted the importance of unity and collaboration in navigating current economic challenges. He encouraged members to actively participate in ZACCI initiatives, noting that the Chamber’s strength lies in the engagement of its diverse membership base. 

He further emphasized efforts to strengthen trade, investment, and resilient value chains across Zambia.

The event also featured a presentation by Dr. Joseph Phiri, Research Fellow at the Zambia Institute for Policy Analysis and Research (ZIPAR), who provided an insightful analysis of the prevailing economic landscape. His contribution emphasized the need for evidence-based policymaking in driving sustainable development.

The CEO Breakfast Meeting served as a platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and aligning business interests with national development goals. ZACCI expressed its appreciation to all stakeholders in attendance and reiterated its dedication to amplifying the voice of the private sector in Zambia’s economic future.
