Government Approves K20 Million Constituency Development Fund Projects for Isoka

The government has given the green light to fifteen community projects worth K20 million under the 2023 Constituency Development Fund (CDF) for Isoka Constituency. In addition, twelve secondary boarding school bursaries and thirty-four skills development bursaries have been approved for the 2023 academic year.

The latest approvals come on the heels of the recent approval of 92 skills development bursaries and 105 secondary school bursaries. The community projects encompass a range of sectors and aim to uplift the infrastructure and facilities in the Isoka Constituency.

The approved community projects include the construction of His Royal Highness Chief Kafwimbi’s Palace, procurement of 6,595 school desks, provision of electricity in public places by the Rural Electrification Authority, construction of an ablution block at the Old Market in Kasoka ward, construction of an ablution block at Mwenya Primary School, and construction of a Maternity Annex at Lualizi Primary School.

Other projects include the procurement of a Truck Back Hoe loader (TLB), a 25 Tonne Tipper Truck, construction of an ablution block and incinerator at Milongo Health Post, construction of an ablution block at Sansamwenje market, construction of a health post and maternity annex in Chaswata Zone, construction of a staff house at Nansala Primary School, construction of a health post at Mwaiseni village, construction of an ablution block and water tank at Milongo Health Post, and construction of a maternity annex at Nachisungu Health Post.

Isoka Town Council has already commenced the bidding process for the supply and delivery of school desks, ensuring transparency and fair procurement practices.

The approval of these projects demonstrates the government’s commitment to investing in local communities and improving essential services and infrastructure in Isoka Constituency. The implementation of these projects will contribute to the overall development and well-being of the residents, enhancing their quality of life and promoting socio-economic progress.
