Proflight Zambia Signs Interline Ticketing Agreement with Turkish Airlines to Enhance Global Connectivity

Proflight Zambia has entered into a landmark interline ticketing agreement with Turkish Airlines, marking the airline’s first such agreement with a European carrier. This partnership paves the way for smoother travel connections between Europe, Zambia, and Southern Africa, providing passengers with easy access to Proflight Zambia’s extensive domestic and regional routes.

Effective from November 2024, the agreement enables Turkish Airlines to issue tickets that connect seamlessly to Proflight’s network, enhancing travel convenience for passengers flying from Europe to Zambia. Proflight Zambia’s Director of Flight Operations, Captain Josias Walubita, expressed his excitement about the collaboration: 

“This partnership with Turkish Airlines reflects our shared commitment to improving connectivity, safety, reliability, and delivering exceptional service. It simplifies travel for passengers flying from Europe to Zambia, further strengthening our vision of positioning Zambia as a key regional gateway.”

Travelers can now explore Zambia’s premier destinations, such as the breathtaking South Luangwa National Park, known for its world-class safaris, and Livingstone, home to the iconic Victoria Falls. With Turkish Airlines’ extensive global reach, passengers can also easily access major Southern African destinations, all under a single ticket.

Turkish Airlines, with a global network spanning 296 international destinations across 130 countries and 53 destinations within Türkiye, brings Proflight Zambia’s flights to a broader audience. This collaboration enhances Zambia’s international profile, further contributing to the nation’s tourism and economic growth.
