Zambia Postpones Invest-Zambia International Conference to December 2026

The Zambia Development Agency (ZDA) has announced the postponement of the Invest-Zambia International Conference 2026 (IZIC), with the event now scheduled to take place from 9th to 11th December 2026.

The conference, which was initially set for 15th to 17th July 2026, will still be held at the Mulungushi International Conference Centre (KKICC Wing).

According to ZDA, the decision follows extensive consultations with key stakeholders and strategic partners aimed at enhancing the overall impact of the event.

The revised dates are expected to allow for increased international participation, higher-level engagements, and more meaningful networking opportunities aligned with Zambia’s growing investment pipeline.

In a statement issued by Head of Communications and Public Relations, Mr Kwali Mfuni, the Agency acknowledged the inconvenience the change may cause to delegates and sponsors who had already begun making travel and logistical arrangements.

The Agency, however, assured stakeholders that all existing commitments will remain valid. Sponsorship packages, donations, and branding agreements will be honoured under the new schedule, while confirmed delegate registrations will automatically be carried over to the December dates.

ZDA further emphasised that its team remains available to support stakeholders requiring clarification or assistance regarding existing arrangements.

The Agency reaffirmed its commitment to delivering a successful IZIC 2026 December edition, positioning the conference as a leading platform for global investment promotion, strategic partnerships, and sustainable economic growth in Zambia.
