Zambians in the Diaspora Mobilize for Capital and Culture Conference to Attract Investment
Zambians living abroad are gearing up for the Capital and Culture Conference, set to take place in Lusaka on December 13-14, 2024. This inaugural business event, organized by African Wonder Experience in collaboration with Unlock Africa Travel and CEO Africa Roundtable, aims to showcase Zambia’s investment potential and integrate cultural intelligence into African business strategies.
Gideon Chibuye, Chairperson of the CEO Africa Roundtable Zambia Chapter, shared that Zambians from the United States will be attending the conference alongside potential investors, highlighting the opportunity to explore investment areas such as tourism, mining, and agriculture.
“This event not only brings foreign investors to Zambia but also encourages Zambians in the diaspora to explore investment opportunities and forge partnerships,” he stated.
The conference aligns with the CEO Africa Roundtable’s mission to foster sustainable growth in Africa by emphasizing the importance of cultural intelligence in business.
Chibuye noted that with the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) poised to create a $3.4 trillion economic bloc, understanding cultural nuances is vital for successful investment in Africa.
Anne Mpembamoto Schultz, Director of the Capital and Culture Conference, announced that the event will feature prominent African and international business leaders, engaging in discussions about leveraging cultural intelligence for business success.
Additionally, cultural showcases will highlight Africa’s rich heritage and its significance in modern business.
The conference is expected to attract over 100 foreign delegates, including global investors and influential African business leaders, positioning Zambia as a key player in the continent’s economic landscape.
