Ambassador Sikazwe delivered warm greetings from Zambian President Hakainde Hichilema to His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein.

He expressed gratitude for the King’s acceptance of his credentials and underscored Zambia’s commitment to enhancing international cooperation.

During the ceremony, Dr. Sikazwe emphasized Zambia’s readiness to collaborate with Jordan across diverse sectors, including mining, agriculture, tourism, education, health, and renewable energy.

He invited Jordanian investors to explore opportunities in Zambia’s promising mining and agricultural sectors and pledged to work on strengthening trade relations between the two nations.

Addressing Zambia’s energy challenges, particularly the impact of drought on hydroelectric power generation, Dr. Sikazwe urged Jordanian investors to support Zambia’s efforts in diversifying its energy sector with renewable resources.

King Abdullah II highlighted the importance of enhanced security cooperation and offered Jordan’s expertise in security training to Zambia.

He also extended an invitation to President Hichilema for a State Visit to Jordan, aiming to further solidify the diplomatic and economic ties between the two countries.
