Traders Caught Mixing Mealie Meal with Maize Bran
The Zambia Police Service has disclosed that certain unscrupulous individuals have been apprehended for adulterating mealie meal with maize bran, a concoction commonly known as Gaga.
This disturbing discovery, intended for distribution in the Sinazeze area of Sinazongwe District, has sparked outrage among health experts and the public alike.
Dr. Cosmas Zyambo, a renowned Public Health Expert and a Patriotic Zambian, expressed deep dismay over the compromised food items. He emphasized that such a mixture poses serious health risks and is utterly unsuitable for human consumption.
