President Hichilema Acknowledges Progress in Cholera Fight and Announces Measures
President Hakainde Hichilema shared positive updates on the ongoing efforts to combat cholera in the country. The President, accompanied by government officials, visited the cholera center at Heroes Stadium in Lusaka to assess the situation firsthand.

The President extended appreciation to cooperating partners for their continuous support in the fight against the disease. Following the visit to the cholera center, President Hichilema announced a directive to employ all volunteers working on the frontline under the Ministry of Health.
These dedicated individuals, who have been risking their lives, will now be given permanent positions across the country.
President Hichilema emphasized the importance of cleanliness, stating that “Cleanliness is next to Godliness.” He urged citizens to maintain clean surroundings, food, and water to prevent the spread of diseases.
