ZRA Advances Seamless Services through Innovation

The Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) has unveiled its latest innovative services during a comprehensive engagement with Large and Specialized taxpayers, reinforcing its commitment to providing efficient solutions for taxpayer compliance.

In the opening remarks of the meeting, Ignatius Mvula, Director of the Large and Specialized Office at ZRA, highlighted the Authority’s dedication to finding enhanced innovative solutions that streamline taxpayer compliance.

Mr. Mvula emphasized the crucial role of interacting with taxpayers and obtaining their feedback to drive ongoing innovation within the Authority.

He stressed the significance of open networking with taxpayers, stating that their feedback is essential for the continuous improvement of ZRA’s services. 

Encouraging active participation, he underscored that the primary goal of the meeting was to interact and add value to the networking process.

The Director reiterated the Authority’s unwavering commitment to ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for taxpayers in meeting their obligations. 

The meeting addressed various topics crucial to taxpayer interactions, including the Taxpayer Identification Number (TPIN) interface with banks, amendments to the Income Tax Return process, and the introduction of Smart Invoicing.

Among the attendees were representatives from various sectors, including banks, retailers, and wholesalers. 

The collaborative engagement allowed for fruitful discussions and insights, aligning with ZRA’s proactive approach to innovation and client-focused service delivery.

As the Zambia Revenue Authority continues to champion innovative solutions, Mr. Mvula stated that these engagements serve as vital forums for mutual understanding and collaboration between the Authority and taxpayers, fostering a more streamlined and efficient tax compliance landscape. 

He further emphasized the Authority’s commitment to evolving its services to meet the dynamic needs of taxpayers across sectors.
