Zambian High Commissioner Presents Credentials to Nigeria
Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu received the credentials of Zambia’s new High Commissioner, George Muhali Imbuwa, on Friday, April 19th, 2024. The ceremony at the Nigerian State House formally accredited Mr. Imbuwa as Zambia’s top diplomat in the country.
During their bilateral discussions, President Tinubu encouraged the High Commissioner to venture beyond the capital city of Abuja.
He suggested exploring other parts of Nigeria to identify potential areas for strengthened cooperation between the two nations.
The discussions also highlighted specific areas of potential collaboration. President Tinubu emphasized the importance of exploring new avenues in agriculture and tourism.
Additionally, he stressed the need for establishing railway links across African countries to boost trade and tourism.
High Commissioner Imbuwa expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome he has received from the Nigerian government since his arrival.
He reaffirmed Zambia’s commitment to exploring new opportunities for collaboration with Nigeria, aiming for mutual benefit for both nations.
