Zambian Gov’t Mourns Passing of Music Producer Chali Bravo
The Zambian Government has expressed deep condolences following the death of renowned music producer, songwriter, and founder of Slingbeats Entertainment, Mr. Chali Mulalami, widely known as Chali Bravo.
Minister of Youth, Sport and Arts, Hon. Elvis C. Nkandu, MP, described Mr. Mulalami as a pivotal figure in Zambia’s music industry, whose work over the past two decades greatly contributed to the growth and professionalisation of local music.
“When we reflect on many of the celebrated artistes who have entertained the nation over the last twenty years, Mr. Mulalami’s contribution is evident.
He was behind numerous hit songs, either as a producer or songwriter,” Hon. Nkandu said.
The late producer collaborated with several prominent artistes, including K’Millian, Mampi, General Ozzy, and Roberto, leaving a lasting legacy in the Zambian creative sector.
Hon. Nkandu extended heartfelt condolences to Mr. Mulalami’s family, friends, colleagues, and all who admired his work.
