Zambian Students Graduate as Doctors in Venezuela
The Embassy of the Republic of Zambia in Luanda has announced that Zambian students have successfully completed their medical training and graduated as doctors in Venezuela.
The students received their qualifications on 23 December alongside peers from other countries, the Embassy confirmed in a statement.
The Embassy said its team in Luanda worked closely with Ambassador Belén Orsini, Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to Zambia (resident in Luanda), to verify academic and administrative documents. This support ensured that the Zambian students did not miss their graduation ceremony.
According to the Embassy, this achievement highlights the value of effective cooperation between diplomatic missions in addressing practical challenges and directly benefiting citizens abroad.
The graduation success also reflects the Zambian Government’s commitment to education and skills development, under the leadership of President Hakainde Hichilema, as key pillars of national development.
In its statement, the Embassy congratulated the graduates on their important achievement and wished them success as they prepare to serve Zambia and its communities.
The announcement was issued by the Embassy of the Republic of Zambia in Luanda, Republic of Angola.
