Yango Zambia Spreads Joy and Support at Fountain of Hope Orphanage

As part of its festive season outreach, Yango Zambia, a branch of the global tech company Yango Group, has donated essential household and personal care items to the Fountain of Hope Orphanage in Lusaka.

The donation included personal care products, food supplies, exercise books, mattresses, and blankets to support the children’s well-being during the Christmas period.

Beyond the donation, Yango’s team spent the day celebrating with the children through games, shared activities, and a communal lunch, creating a joyful atmosphere of togetherness and care.

Kabanda Chewe, Country Head for Yango Zambia, said: “Christmas reminds us of the power of kindness, presence, and shared moments. While the donation meets practical needs, spending time with the children and celebrating together is just as important.”

Fountain of Hope representative John Chabinga added: “This visit was a meaningful gesture for our children. The support is valuable, but the time spent celebrating and interacting with the team made the children feel loved and remembered during the festive season. We are grateful to Yango for their generosity.”

The initiative aligns with Yango Zambia’s broader commitment to social impact in the country, which includes support for STEM programmes, youth events such as the NKATA Africa Football tournament, driver safety initiatives, and targeted assistance for vulnerable communities.

Through such engagements, Yango continues to combine technology with purpose, creating moments of care and shared humanity in the communities it serves.
