ZAM Endorses Dr. Samuel Maimbo for African Development Bank Leadership
The Zambia Association of Manufacturers (ZAM) has formally endorsed Dr. Samuel Maimbo for the presidency of the African Development Bank (AfDB), citing his extensive expertise and leadership in international finance as key assets for driving Africa’s economic transformation.
Dr. Maimbo, who currently serves as the Vice President for Budget, Performance Review, and Strategic Planning at the World Bank, has had a distinguished career dedicated to advancing financial solutions, economic resilience, and sustainable development.
His tenure at the World Bank has been marked by a strong commitment to innovative financial mechanisms, capacity building, and fostering strategic partnerships across the continent.
