Congo Energy & Investment Forum 2025: Driving Growth in Congo’s Energy Sector
The Congo Energy & Investment Forum (CEIF) 2025 is set to take place from March 24-26 in Brazzaville, marking a pivotal event for the Republic of Congo’s energy sector.
Under the patronage of President Denis Sassou Nguesso and supported by the Ministry of Hydrocarbons and Société National des Pétroles du Congo, CEIF 2025 aims to attract global energy leaders, investors, and policymakers to explore transformative opportunities in oil, gas, and power generation.
The forum’s technical sessions will unveil key investment opportunities, regulatory reforms, and developments shaping Congo’s energy landscape. Topics include the Gas Master Plan, the new Gas Code, and strategies for monetizing stranded gas resources.
With the launch of the Nguya FLNG vessel in 2024, Congo’s LNG project will take center stage, demonstrating the country’s export potential and positioning it as a regional energy hub.
Workshops will feature partnerships with Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan, highlighting international collaboration in energy development. Offshore exploration in the Congo/Angola Basin and deepwater oil projects will also be key areas of focus, alongside discussions on marginal fields and gas-to-power initiatives aimed at meeting rising energy demands.
