President Hichilema Congratulates Namibia’s First Female President 

President Hakainde Hichilema of the Republic of Zambia has congratulated Namibia’s newly elected President, Her Excellency Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, on her historic victory as the country’s first female head of state.

In his statement, President Hichilema lauded the people of Namibia for conducting a peaceful election and commended the SWAPO party on their win. 

He highlighted the strong historical and cultural ties between Zambia and Namibia, emphasizing the importance of continued friendship and cooperation between the two nations.

“Congratulations to Namibia’s newly elected President, Her Excellency Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, on her historic win as the country’s first female President! Zambia and Namibia share a rich history and cultural ties. We look forward to strengthening our friendship and cooperation,” President Hichilema said.
