Apply Now for ClimateLaunchpad 2026 Green Business Competition

The world’s largest green business ideas competition, ClimateLaunchpad, has officially opened applications for its 2026 edition, continuing its mission to support climate innovation and sustainable entrepreneurship worldwide. Since its launch in 2014, the programme has nurtured nearly 5,000 green business ideas across 97 countries.

This year, the competition is expanding its presence in Asia, with Singapore hosting both the Regional Final and the Global Grand Final for the first time. The initiative is partnering with regional organisations Better Earth Ventures and TPC (Tsao Pao Chee), strengthening its ecosystem support for early-stage climate ventures across the Asia-Pacific region.

“Strengthening ClimateLaunchpad’s presence in Asia marks a profound new chapter for this programme and for the climate innovation movement more broadly. Asia is where so much of the world’s climate and nature future will be shaped,” said Kirsten Dunlop, CEO of Climate KIC.

The programme is designed to transform green ideas into viable businesses through a structured process that includes an initial mini-course, an intensive multi-day Boot Camp, targeted coaching for value propositions and investor pitches, and national and regional finals leading to the Global Grand Final. Winners receive prize money, investor connections, and access to a global cleantech network.

Rebecca Sharpe, Founder and CEO of Better Earth Ventures, highlighted the significance of hosting both the Regional and Global Grand Finals in Singapore. “Climate solutions are emerging from every corner of the world, and bringing them together creates the kind of cross-border exchange and collaboration this moment demands,” she said.

The competition also collaborates with NO.17 Foundation, part of the TPC ecosystem, which focuses on turning promising ideas into scalable, systems-level change.

Luis Alvarado Martinez, CEO of NO.17 Foundation, said, “Climate innovation is ultimately a human endeavour before it is a technological one. Platforms like ClimateLaunchpad connect founders with the networks, capital, and collaboration needed to scale local solutions globally.”

ClimateLaunchpad receives long-term support from partners such as Bank of America and Irish Aid, providing visibility, funding, and opportunities for entrepreneurs, particularly in emerging markets.

Climate innovators, green venture builders, and entrepreneurs from around the world can apply here.
