Emirates Soars Higher in Manila with Four Extra Weekly Flights

Emirates has announced a significant expansion of its operations to the Philippines, introducing four additional weekly flights between Dubai and Manila from 2 April, as part of its continued growth strategy in Southeast Asia.

The new services will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Flight EK330 will depart Dubai at 12:45, arriving in Manila at 01:25 the following day, while the return service, EK331, will leave Manila at 03:25 and arrive in Dubai at 08:25. All times are local.

The additional flights will be operated by Emirates’ Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, offering eight private suites in First Class, 42 lie-flat seats in Business Class and 304 seats in Economy Class. The expansion is aimed at enhancing connectivity for corporate travellers, marine customers and the large Filipino diaspora across Emirates’ global network, including destinations in the Middle East, Europe, North America and Africa.

The increased frequency will also improve onward connections via Dubai to Canada, the United States and several European cities, including Milan, London, Budapest and Athens.

Passengers travelling to and from Manila will continue to enjoy Emirates’ award-winning service, with regionally inspired cuisine, complimentary beverages and access to the airline’s ice inflight entertainment system, which features more than 6,500 channels of on-demand content in over 40 languages, including Tagalog.

Beyond passenger services, the expansion will also strengthen cargo operations. Each Boeing 777-300ER can carry up to 20 tonnes of cargo in its bellyhold, and the additional flights will increase trade capacity between the Philippines, the UAE, Europe, the United States and the Indian subcontinent.

The move comes as the UAE and the Philippines deepen economic ties following the signing of a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA). With established operations in Manila and Cebu/Clark, Emirates is well positioned to support growing trade and investment between the two countries.

Emirates first launched services to Manila in 1990 and has steadily expanded its presence in the Philippines. The airline currently operates 28 weekly flights to the country and will increase this to 34 weekly services from April. Through its partnership with Philippine Airlines, Emirates also offers seamless connections to multiple domestic destinations, with through baggage check-in to final destinations.

Last year, Emirates further demonstrated its long-term commitment to the Philippine market by opening its first Emirates World Store in Southeast Asia, located in Bonifacio Global City, Manila, offering customers an immersive brand experience and a range of travel products.
