Emirates Brings Christmas Cheer to the Skies This December

Emirates is bringing the enchantment of Christmas to customers around the world this December, unveiling a series of festive experiences designed to add warmth, wonder and seasonal flair to every journey. With more than 2.3 million departures and 2.5 million arrivals expected over the coming weeks, the airline is turning travel into a holiday celebration from the moment passengers step onboard.

Travellers across all cabins can look forward to classic Christmas flavours, beginning with aromatic festive hot chocolate served between 17–26 December. Those departing Dubai from 24–26 December will enjoy special treats tailored to their cabin: truffles in Economy, gingerbread cookies in Premium Economy and Business Class, and a luxurious raspberry Paris-Brest in First Class.

Premium cabins will feature internationally inspired holiday dishes, from salmon gravadlax and pickled herring starters to traditional roast turkey with trimmings. Selected routes will offer chef-curated alternatives, including herb-crusted lamb shank and duck confit with cranberry jus. First Class guests will finish with festive desserts such as a handcrafted strawberry-and-cream Santa.

Economy Class travellers will also enjoy a full festive meal, including roast turkey with chestnut roulade and maple-roasted vegetables, followed by a fruit cake soaked in orange or a whimsical reindeer-themed mini mousse cake for younger passengers.

At the A380 Onboard Lounge, customers can indulge in mince pies, stollen, panettone, festive macarons and seasonal savouries, complemented by playful holiday-themed selfie props.

Between 15–31 December, Emirates’ lounges in Dubai will feature roasted turkey, seasonal cocktails, Champagne pairings and classic Christmas desserts. Lounges worldwide will also offer regionally inspired holiday menus.

Throughout December, First Class passengers will have the rare opportunity to enjoy Dom Pérignon Plénitude 2, 2006, alongside exceptional wines from Emirates’ exclusive cellar. Business and Premium Economy customers will also be treated to curated wine selections and seasonal sparkling options.

Flights between Dubai and destinations including Russia, Cyprus and Ethiopia will feature Orthodox Christmas menus from 24 December to 8 January, with dishes such as Olivier salad, smoked salmon, duck confit and festive desserts across all cabins.

This year’s inflight entertainment line-up includes 39 Christmas films such as Last Christmas, Elf and The Holiday, along with 42 holiday TV specials and Christmas music albums from iconic artists.

The EmiratesRED Winter 2025 catalogue offers more than 300 gift options, while Emirates’ official holiday merchandise includes Christmas jumpers, family pyjamas and festive accessories.

Through the You Donate, Emirates Doubles campaign, customer donations to the Emirates Airline Foundation will be matched up to $10,000 per contribution, helping support children in need worldwide.
