Students from Raffles World Academy added to the festivities with a performance of the national anthem and a musical programme. Staff also explored a heritage village showcasing traditional UAE culture, from pottery and spices to vintage fabrics and henna art.
The Emirates Group Youth Council organised interactive activities, while the Emirates Engineering team demonstrated an eco-friendly initiative that recycles paper into new notebooks.
All Emirates customers flying from Dubai on 2 and 3 December will receive an Emirati-inspired sweet treat in a mini gift box, with aircraft interiors illuminated in the colours of the UAE flag.
First and Business Class passengers will enjoy fig frangipane and gahwa tart, Premium Economy customers will receive pistachio rahash tart and gahwa tart, and Economy Class customers will be served batheeth with white chocolate and pistachios.
