Emirates Takes Oktoberfest to the Skies with Bavarian Feast and Festive Flair
Emirates is set to mark Oktoberfest with a feast of Bavarian flavours and cultural delights onboard flights to and from Munich, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, and Frankfurt, as well as in German airport lounges, between 20 September and 5 October.
Passengers across all cabins will enjoy authentic Oktoberfest dishes, from hearty appetisers and main courses to indulgent desserts, alongside festive snacks and drinks.
First Class travellers will savour dishes such as poached Alaskan King crab, braised veal shank, and Kaiserschmarren pancakes, while Business Class guests can enjoy duck liver terrine, braised beef short ribs, and baked cheesecake.
Economy passengers will be treated to German favourites including chicken sausage rolls with sauerkraut and black forest cake.
The airline’s iconic A380 Onboard Lounge will feature Oktoberfest-inspired sandwiches, pretzels, and pastries, while airport lounges in Munich, Frankfurt, Hamburg, and Düsseldorf will serve traditional Bavarian fare paired with Oktoberfest beer.
In addition to culinary offerings, Emirates’ award-winning inflight entertainment system, ice, will feature 22 German films, over 350 Hollywood blockbusters dubbed in German, and 31 playlists of German music to bring the festival spirit to the skies.
All customers departing Dubai during the festival period will also receive a complimentary gingerbread heart, decorated in traditional Oktoberfest style.
Emirates will celebrate Oktoberfest across its triple daily flights to Frankfurt and double daily services to Munich, Düsseldorf, and Hamburg, offering passengers a seasonal taste of Bavarian hospitality at 40,000 feet.
