Fairworld – FAME 2025 Partners with Rhodes Park School to Empower Young Innovators

FAME 2025 and Rhodes Park School have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), marking the beginning of an inspiring collaboration that will provide students with opportunities in entrepreneurship, poetry, and creative expression.

This strategic partnership will enable Rhodes Park School pupils to actively participate in Fairworld – FAME 2025, scheduled for April 26-27, 2025, at East Park Mall, Lusaka.

Speaking at the MOU signing, Mr. Chisebwe Fumbeshi, Chief Executive & Creative Officer of Fairworld Properties, emphasized the deep historical significance of Rhodes Park School and its alignment with Fairworld – FAME’s vision.

“It’s so great to be here at Rhodes Park School. What brings us to Rhodes Park is legacy. When we talk of legacy, we’re talking of leadership. We’re talking of excellence. We’re talking of growth. We’re talking of accountability. And a lot of people don’t know that Rhodes Park School is one of the oldest schools in Lusaka. It was started in 1966 as a white school, and then later on in 1973, Mr. Mwansa Folotiya acquired the school with his wife. And from there, Rhodes Park has been growing. What else can we say from the FAME family and Fairworld?”

As part of this partnership, Rhodes Park School students will engage in:

  • Poetry & Spoken Word Showcase – A platform for students to present creative pieces on leadership, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
  • Business & Entrepreneurship Competitions – Engaging Teens (Ages 13-18) and Kids (Ages 5-12) in developing, pitching, and refining business ideas.

Mr. Luke Whitfield, Innovation Projects Lead at Fairworld – FAME 2025, explained why Rhodes Park School was a natural partner for this initiative:

“We believe that Rhodes Park School is one of the first schools that we should approach when it comes to coming on board for the firm. And we are so happy that you allowed us to come into your office and to sign a memorandum of understanding for Rhodes Park School to come to the firm.”

Rhodes Park School Headmaster, Mr. Keegan Kamuchungu, welcomed the collaboration, highlighting its potential to enrich students’ exposure to business and the arts:

“We’re excited about engaging Rhodes Park from the perspective of students engaging in arts and poetry, as well as a student competition for business, focusing on entrepreneurship and really increasing an awareness of business practices within the next generation.”

This partnership at Fairworld – FAME 2025 will not only provide students with a platform to showcase their talents but also allow them to network with industry leaders. Winners of the business competition will receive trophies, mentorship, and potential startup support.

Fairworld – FAME 2025 extends an open invitation to other schools, businesses, and stakeholders across Zambia and beyond to be part of this transformative initiative aimed at nurturing leadership, innovation, and business excellence among the next generation.
