Zambia Mining and Investment Insaka Set to Elevate Zambia’s Mining Sector

Zambia’s Minister of Mines and Minerals Development, Honourable Paul C. Kabuswe, says the Zambia Mining and Investment Insaka (ZAMII) 2024 is poised to significantly enhance Zambia’s position in the global mining industry.

Speaking at the Copperbelt Media Campaign event in Ndola, Mr. Kabuswe described the Insaka as a transformative initiative that will revolutionize mining practices in Zambia.

The Minister highlighted that ZAMII will not only promote investment and foster networking and business development but will also serve as a critical platform for knowledge sharing and collaboration.

“This Insaka is a different ball game that will add substantial value to our mining sector,” Mr. Kabuswe stated.

Copperbelt Province Minister Honourable Elisha Matambo lauded the Ministry of Mines and Minerals Development for launching the initiative, emphasizing its potential to drive growth in the sector.

Dr. Hapenga M. Kabeta, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Mines, urged stakeholders to engage with the 2024 ZAMII, which will be hosted by the Zambian Government from 7 to 11 October 2024 at the Mulungushi International Conference Center in Lusaka.

Dr. Kabeta’s appeal reflects the event’s anticipated impact on Zambia’s mining and investment landscape.
