Govt Praises Chinese Companies at 2024 Zambia Agriculture and Commercial Show
The Zambian government has expressed its admiration for the Chinese companies participating in the 2024 Zambia Agriculture and Commercial Show.
The Zambia Chinese Association was recognized as a platinum sponsor at this year’s event, with President Hakainde Hichilema presenting the award to the association.
President Hichilema was accompanied by Burundi President Eavariste Ndayishimiye at the official opening of the show yesterday.
In his speech, President Hichilema commended the Chinese Association for its unwavering commitment to the nation’s development through sustained investments in various sectors, including energy, agriculture, health, infrastructure, and more.
Over 100 Chinese companies are exhibiting, showcasing a diverse range of products and services.
The Zambia Chinese Association’s stand has been a hub of activity, attracting hundreds of visitors.
Local Government and Rural Development Minister Garry Nkombo praised the diversity and quality of the products and services offered by the Chinese companies, highlighting the mutual benefits of the collaboration between Zambia and China.
Wu Ming, Executive President of the Chinese Association, expressed gratitude for the Zambian government’s efforts in creating a conducive environment for foreign businesses to thrive.
