ZDA and ACCZ Forge Strategic Partnership to Boost Zambia-China Trade and Investment
The Zambia Development Agency (ZDA) and the Association of Chinese Corporations in Zambia (ACCZ) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at deepening economic ties between Zambia and China.
The agreement was formalized during the inaugural ACCZ Economic and Investment Summit held in Lusaka.
The MoU is set to pave the way for significant long-term investment projects across various sectors, including trade, infrastructure, agriculture, mining, and technology.
The partnership will facilitate the creation of special economic zones in Zambia and promote joint ventures between Zambian and Chinese firms.
Under the agreement, ACCZ will assist in identifying potential Chinese investors for Zambian opportunities and collaborate with ZDA to promote trade and investments.
ZDA will support ACCZ in enhancing investment operations and providing specific incentives for bilateral projects.
The two organizations will also host business forums in Zambia and China to further strengthen trade ties and explore new market opportunities.
Additionally, they will work to expand the export of Zambian products to China, enhancing Zambia’s presence in the Chinese market.
