Ecobank Zambia Showcases Single Market Trade Hub at Land-Linked Zambia Conference
Ecobank Zambia took center stage at the 3rd edition of the Land-Linked Zambia Conference and Exhibition, held at Ciela’s Lusaka International Convention Centre, showcasing its commitment to boosting intra-African trade and investment.
The conference, themed “Connecting Zambia & SADC by Land to facilitate trade, investments and ease of movement of goods and people,” brought together industry leaders, government officials, investors, and stakeholders from across the Southern African Development Community (SADC).
Ecobank Managing Director, Ms. Aina Moore, reaffirmed the bank’s unwavering support for initiatives that drive economic integration and sustainable development across Africa.
She commended the Land-Linked Zambia Conference for its role in fostering trade facilitation, investment, and regional collaboration within SADC.
A key highlight of Ecobank’s participation was the unveiling of their innovative Single Market Trade Hub, a digital platform designed to streamline intra-African trade and investment under the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA).
The Single Market Trade Hub empowers businesses with cutting-edge digital tools and comprehensive financial solutions, giving them the confidence to navigate the complexities of regional trade.
Ms. Moore elaborated on the various services offered by the Ecobank Single Market Trade Hub, which are specifically tailored to the needs of African businesses engaged in cross-border trade.
This includes MyTradeHub, a state-of-the-art matchmaking platform that connects importers and exporters across Africa.
