Book Launch Empowers Zambia’s Tech Advancement with Internet and AI
Minister of Technology and Science Felix Mutati urged Zambians to harness the power of the internet and artificial intelligence (AI) for progressive change, emphasizing the importance of contributing to the body of knowledge through innovative solutions and entrepreneurial endeavors.
His remarks were delivered during a recent digital marketing book launch at the University of Zambia.

He lauded the authors, Clement and Rachel Sinyangwe, for their dedication to sharing knowledge and uplifting the country’s profile through their book titled “Digital Marketing.”
Speaking at the event, Mrs. Rachel Sinyangwe expressed gratitude for the support received during the three-year journey of creating the book. With nearly two decades of experience in marketing and brand management, she highlighted the significance of marketing in sparking interest in products and services and its role in every facet of business operations.
Dr. Clement Sinyangwe, also present at the launch, commended Minister Mutati for his commitment to digital transformation, describing him as a self-professed Digital Ambassador.
He emphasized the importance of the book in responding to the evolving landscape of technology and its impact on society, particularly in the Zambian market.
The event highlighted the rapid growth of Zambia’s ICT sector, with internet connectivity reaching thirteen percent in 2023 alone, connecting over thirteen million Zambians. Minister Mutati revealed government plans to establish digital transformation centers across the country to bridge the digital skills gap and promote literacy.
