Ivory Coast’s triumph in the Africa Cup of Nations continues to be celebrated as President Alassane Ouattara welcomed the victorious football team to the Presidential Palace on Tuesday, extending his congratulations and gratitude for their remarkable achievement.
In a reception held at the Presidential Palace, President Ouattara personally awarded medals to the players, coaches, and officials of the Elephants, who clinched the prestigious title of African champions in 2023.

Team officials were honored with the rank of Commander in the country’s National Order of Merit, while coaches and players were named Chevalier and officers respectively, highlighting their exceptional contributions to Ivorian football.
