Emirates Rings in Lunar New Year with Festive Offerings for Customers

As the Lunar New Year approaches, Emirates is gearing up to delight its customers with a host of celebratory experiences, ushering in the Year of the Dragon with style and tradition.

On February 10th, Emirates lounges in key locations including Dubai, Singapore, Bangkok, Shanghai, and Beijing will be transformed into havens of festivity, offering curated menus and immersive cultural experiences. 

Customers can indulge in specially crafted Lunar New Year menus featuring traditional delicacies and symbolic dishes.

In Dubai, the First and Business Class lounges will feature a delectable array of Cantonese delights, including classics like ‘Cheung Fun’ steamed rice noodle rolls and Cantonese roast duck bao with plum sauce. 

Meanwhile, in Business Class lounges, guests can savor poached shrimp and vegetable dumplings and Chinese rainbow salad with smoked salmon.

Desserts include mango coconut cake and black tea cake, adding a sweet touch to the celebrations.

In Singapore and Bangkok, Emirates Lounge patrons will be treated to authentic flavors such as Chinese chicken sausage in lotus leaf and rice, and beef sweet and sour in Bangkok. 

These offerings aim to evoke the spirit of togetherness and abundance synonymous with Lunar New Year festivities.

Onboard, passengers can immerse themselves in a selection of up to 21 Mandarin and 12 Cantonese movies, including popular titles like ‘Day Off’ and ‘Lighting Up the Stars’. 

Additionally, over 250 Hollywood movies with Chinese subtitles will be available for viewing, ensuring a diverse entertainment experience for all passengers.

To further enhance the festive ambiance, Emirates will be offering a special Lunar New Year dessert to select routes, including a decadent red velvet lychee cake in First and Business Class, and a creamy red velvet lychee mousse in Economy Class. 

First and Business Class customers will also receive traditional red envelopes filled with chocolate coins, symbolizing good luck and prosperity for the new year.

Emirates’ commitment to cultural inclusivity extends beyond Lunar New Year, with a selection of Vietnamese movies available onboard for passengers celebrating Tet Festival.

As Emirates continues to prioritize customer experience and cultural diversity, these initiatives underscore the airline’s dedication to creating memorable journeys for travelers around the world, fostering connections and spreading joy during festive seasons.
