Multichoice Launches GOtv Stream in Zambia
Multichoice has unveiled the GOtv Stream App in Zambia, offering an online streaming service to enhance user experience.
However, during the launch, Leah Kooma, the Managing Director of MultiChoice Zambia, raised concerns about the escalating issue of piracy and called for collective efforts to combat this growing problem.
Ms. Kooma emphasized the detrimental impact of illegal connections and content streaming on businesses within the industry.
She urged stakeholders to collaborate urgently to address and curtail this challenge, ensuring a fair and sustainable environment for all.
The GOtv Stream introduces several features catering to the convenience of subscribers. It allows all GOtv customers to seamlessly watch their favorite programs and content on various electronic devices.
Ms. Kooma highlighted key functionalities, including Live TV, TV guide, CatchUp, support for up to four devices, content downloading to devices, and a Live Chat feature.
The service is designed to keep customers connected at all times and from anywhere, offering flexibility in accessing content.
Ms. Kooma noted, “Some of the functionality available are; Live TV, TV guide, CatchUp, use on up to four devices, downloading content to devices, and Live Chat. All paid up GOtv customers, with an internet connection can download and use GOtv Stream for free – available on Google Play Store of the Apple App Store.”
With the launch of GOtv Stream, Multichoice aims to enhance the viewing experience for subscribers while addressing the challenges posed by piracy through a collective call to action.
