Aina Moore Appointed as Managing Director of Ecobank Zambia Limited
Ecobank Zambia Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. L. Aina Moore as the Managing Director for the bank. With over 25 years of experience in the banking sector, including a tenure at the Central Bank of The Gambia and various roles in commercial banking across West Africa, Ms. Moore brings a wealth of expertise to her new role.
In a statement issued by Glenda Masebe Kamalata, Head of Corporate Communications and Marketing for Ecobank Zambia, Ms. Moore’s career in banking began at Guaranty Trust Bank in The Gambia, where she initially served as a Relationship Manager in the newly established branch.
Her dedication and proficiency saw her rise through the ranks to become a General Manager and the Divisional Head of the bank’s Corporate Division.
In her recent role, Ms. Moore served as the Managing Director of Ecobank Sierra Leone Limited for the past eight years. Prior to that, she held the position of Executive Director and Corporate Bank Head at Ecobank Sierra Leone Limited.
Upon her appointment, Ms. Moore expressed her enthusiasm and vision for her new role as the Managing Director of Ecobank Zambia. She emphasized the opportunity to contribute to the bank’s strategic growth and its commitment to building a world-class Pan African bank in Zambia.
