In a collaborative effort aimed at nurturing the next generation of leaders, the Emirates Group and Microsoft have come together to provide comprehensive training and mentorship to promising UAE Nationals.

This groundbreaking initiative offers a meticulously designed program centered on Microsoft’s cutting-edge technology courses, including digital transformation and leveraging AI for business impact. Additionally, participants will receive guidance in developing essential soft and leadership skills. The overarching goal is to not only educate and inspire future leaders within the Emirates Group but also to chart a clear career trajectory grounded in business and cultural transformation.

The program comprises over 120 hours of classroom workshops, blending both in-person and virtual elements. It will be supplemented by mentorship from Microsoft’s leadership team in the UAE and an extraordinary opportunity for participants to engage with and learn from senior leaders at Microsoft Headquarters in Redmond, USA.

Adel Al Redha, Chief Operating Officer of Emirates, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, “We value our longstanding partnership with Microsoft, and we are thrilled to expand it to encompass opportunities for our future leaders to advance their careers and broaden their knowledge. We cherish our shared vision of nurturing and empowering our people for a brighter future, counting on their potential and contributions to benefit our businesses and communities. This new initiative marks the initial step in our collaboration, and we eagerly anticipate further strengthening our partnership to bolster our Emiratisation strategy.”

Naim Yazbeck, General Manager of Microsoft UAE, stressed the importance of digital skills in an era of rapid transformation: “The swift pace of digitalization across vital industries, such as the aviation sector in the UAE, underscores the need for young professionals to cultivate the digital prowess required for success in tomorrow’s workforce. We are excited to collaborate with the Emirates Group on this innovative program, empowering the next generation of UAE leaders with the skills and knowledge essential for addressing challenges and innovating solutions that drive business excellence. This partnership with the Emirates Group will not only foster sustainable economic growth but also support the UAE’s aspiration to become a global hub for future talent.”

The Emirates Group recently unveiled its UAE National Talent Acceleration Programme, an integral component of its Emiratisation strategy known as Rehlaty. This initiative comprises four key pillars, including the Take-off Internship Programme, International Bachelor Scholarship Programme, Fly High Graduate Programme, and Masters Scholarship Programme, each aimed at nurturing the talents of UAE Nationals and positioning the Emirates Group as an employer of choice.

In parallel, Microsoft UAE’s internal training program, Tomoh, continues to align with Emiratisation objectives by enhancing the employability of Emirati youth. Through globally recognized skills development, Microsoft training and certification, and on-the-job experience, this program equips students, graduates, and job seekers with the tools they need to thrive in the workforce.

Together, the Emirates Group and Microsoft are forging a path toward a brighter future, cultivating a generation of leaders prepared to navigate the ever-evolving landscape of the business world with confidence and innovation.
