Emirates Responds to Winter Travel Demands with Increased London Heathrow Flights

Emirates, the world’s largest international airline, has announced its plan to enhance its London Heathrow operations to accommodate heightened travel demands during the forthcoming winter season. Starting from October 31, 2023, until March 30, 2024, the airline will introduce an additional five weekly flights to and from London Heathrow, offering customers more travel options.

Presently, Emirates operates six daily A380 flights to London Heathrow. The temporary addition of flights on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays will be served by Emirates’ Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, configured with three distinct classes: First, Business, and Economy.

Flight EK41 will initiate from Dubai at 13:20hrs and touch down at London Heathrow at 17:20hrs, local time. The return journey, EK42, will depart from London Heathrow at 20:15hrs, arriving in Dubai at 07:15hrs local time on the subsequent day.

Emirates’ website, sales offices, travel agents, and online travel agents offer ticket purchasing options for these added flights.

Continued Expansion in the UK

Emirates is dedicated to reestablishing its UK services, as recently evidenced by the resumption of its iconic A380 service to Birmingham and Glasgow. The airline now offers double daily flights to Stansted, augmented services to Newcastle and London Gatwick, and a three times daily A380 service to Manchester.

The airline’s current UK network encompasses 126 weekly flights, including six daily A380 flights to London Heathrow, three times daily A380 service to Gatwick, twice daily service to Stansted, three times daily A380 service to Manchester, double daily service to Birmingham (with a daily A380 service), daily service to Newcastle, and a daily A380 service to Glasgow.
