Emirates and partners build network to reach over 800 cities, opening the world for travelers

Emirates Airlines and its network of partners have created an extensive network, connecting travelers to over 800 cities worldwide. Through strategic codeshare and interline agreements, Emirates has expanded its global footprint and provided seamless travel experiences for customers.

With over 29 codeshare agreements, 117 interline partnerships, and 11 intermodal rail partners, Emirates offers a wide range of travel choices and flexible schedules for travelers. These partnerships have allowed Emirates customers to reach destinations beyond the airline’s own network, opening up new tourism and business opportunities.

Emirates Chief Commercial Officer, Adnan Kazim, highlighted the significance of these partnerships in reshaping the way people travel. The collaborations have not only enhanced Dubai’s connectivity but also generated more tourism, boosting business and trade opportunities.

Last year, Emirates signed agreements with 11 airlines, expanding its connectivity options for customers. The airline’s partnerships with United Airlines, Air Canada, Airlink, Aegean Airlines, Air Tanzania, ITA Airways, Bamboo Airways, Batik Air, Philippine Airlines, Royal Air Maroc, SKY Express, and the recent interline agreement with Kenya Airways have further expanded the network choices available to customers.

Emirates plans to continue entering into new partnerships and strengthening existing ones with airlines across Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Middle East. This commitment extends to Emirates’ loyalty program, Emirates Skywards, and its freight division, Emirates SkyCargo, which work closely with codeshare and interline partners to provide coordinated partnerships that benefit customers.

The partnerships have boosted connectivity options for Emirates customers across various continents. In the Americas, customers can access over 200 U.S. cities through the United network, while partnerships with Air Canada provide seamless connectivity to 232 points spanning three continents. In Europe, Emirates’ codeshare and interline partners offer access to more than 313 cities, including popular holiday destinations. Asia, Australia, Africa, and the Middle East have also benefited from Emirates’ extensive partnerships, providing travelers with diverse destination options.

Emirates’ dedication to sustainable growth and collaboration has positioned the airline as a leader in the industry. The recognition from the United Nations Population Award further highlights Emirates’ commitment to providing exceptional travel experiences while promoting global connectivity and economic development.
