Emirates to Resume Daily Phnom Penh Service via Singapore, Expanding Southeast Asian Connectivity
Emirates Airlines has announced the reintroduction of its daily service to Phnom Penh, Cambodia, starting May 1st, 2024, via Singapore. This move aims to enhance the airline’s connectivity across Southeast Asia, offering passengers seamless travel options between Dubai and key trade and leisure destinations in the region.
Adnan Kazim, Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer of Emirates, expressed the airline’s commitment to strengthening its Southeast Asian network, fostering diverse travel opportunities, and facilitating stronger trade connections for businesses of all sizes.
Kazim extended gratitude to the Cambodian and Singaporean authorities for their support in establishing this vital route, which will contribute to connecting travelers to vibrant destinations within the Emirates network.
The daily service will be operated using a three-class Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, ensuring comfort and luxury for passengers throughout their journey. Flight EK348 will depart Dubai at 02:30 local time, arriving in Singapore at 14:05.
The flight will then proceed to Phnom Penh, departing Singapore at 15:35 and reaching Phnom Penh at 16:35. The return flight, EK349, will depart Phnom Penh at 20:50, arrive in Singapore at 23:50, and then depart Singapore at 01:40 the following day, landing in Dubai at 04:55 local time.
The scheduling of flights between Phnom Penh and Singapore is strategically timed to optimize connecting opportunities for passengers traveling to and from multiple cities in Europe and the United States. With this new connection, Emirates will operate four daily flights to Singapore starting May 1, further enhancing its presence in the region.
Emirates SkyCargo will also offer ample bellyhold cargo capacity on the Boeing 777-300ER, providing more than 300 tonnes per week for transporting goods to and from Phnom Penh. Key export commodities from Phnom Penh include textiles, pharmaceuticals, and other high-value products.
Passengers traveling on Emirates flights will enjoy world-class amenities across all classes, including First Class private suites, lie-flat Business Class seats, and spacious Economy Class seating. The airline’s renowned inflight entertainment system, ice, will offer over 6,500 channels of on-demand entertainment, catering to diverse preferences.
