Emirates Restores 96% of Global Network as Flights Through Dubai Rebound
Emirates has announced a near-full recovery of its global operations, with 96% of its international network now restored following recent disruptions, reaffirming Dubai’s role as a key global aviation hub.
The airline has progressively resumed services across the Americas, Europe, Africa, West Asia, the Middle East/GCC, the Far East and Australasia, as it rebuilds capacity and strengthens global connectivity.
Emirates now operates to 137 destinations across 72 countries, supported by more than 1,300 weekly flights. This represents approximately 75% of its pre-disruption capacity, with the airline steadily increasing frequencies, seat availability and travel options.
Despite operating under constrained schedules during the disruption period, Emirates carried 4.7 million passengers between 1 March and 30 April, reflecting sustained global demand and continued customer confidence in the airline’s services.
Emirates said the recovery underscores Dubai’s strategic importance as a global transit hub, enabling efficient movement of passengers across continents while maintaining seamless connectivity.
Onboard, the airline continues to position itself at the premium end of global aviation, offering regionally inspired multi-course meals curated by award-winning chefs, alongside an extensive entertainment library of more than 6,500 channels in nearly 40 languages. Its ice inflight entertainment system remains one of the largest content platforms in the sky, featuring films, music, podcasts and games.
Connectivity has also been enhanced, with high-speed Wi-Fi available across the fleet and Starlink internet now live on 28 aircraft, delivering faster and more reliable in-flight access.
Emirates has further introduced flexible travel measures to support customer confidence, including a one-time free date change for bookings made from 2 April and a 24-hour fare hold option. Its Dubai Connect programme also continues to offer eligible transit passengers complimentary hotel stays, meals, airport transfers and visa support for layovers between six and 26 hours.
In addition, the Emirates Skywards loyalty programme is offering accelerated tier progression and bonus miles for members between May and August 2026, aimed at rewarding frequent flyers as travel demand rebounds.
The airline says its recovery strategy is focused on restoring full capacity while maintaining its reputation for premium service, operational resilience and global connectivity through Dubai.
