Proflight Zambia Honours Top Agents
Proflight Zambia has reaffirmed its commitment to strong industry partnerships by hosting leading travel agents from Lusaka and Ndola in a series of engagement events aimed at celebrating collaboration and driving growth in the aviation sector.
The events, which featured product presentations, networking sessions, and an awards ceremony, also marked the successful launch of the airline’s Windhoek route, a key milestone in strengthening regional connectivity between Zambia and Namibia.
Proflight Zambia’s Director of Flight Operations, Captain Josias Walubita, described travel agents as central to the growth and evolution of Zambia’s aviation industry.
“Travel agents are far more than distribution partners. They are trusted advisors to travellers, ambassadors for destinations, and an essential part of delivering a seamless passenger experience,” he said.
He noted that the airline’s operations are guided by four core pillars: safety, reliability, efficiency, and friendly service, adding that these principles also shape its relationships with stakeholders across the travel ecosystem.
“Operational excellence is not achieved by the airline alone. It is the result of strong partnerships, and our travel agents play a key role in ensuring passengers receive accurate information and personalised support throughout their journey,” Captain Walubita added.
During the event, 25 travel agents were recognised with certificates for their outstanding performance, reflecting their contribution to the airline’s growth and success.
One of the attending agents praised the airline’s expansion, noting that Proflight Zambia’s growing route network and improved service quality have made it easier to recommend the airline to clients.
With increased regional connectivity and a renewed focus on domestic travel, the collaboration between airlines and travel agents continues to play a vital role in shaping Zambia’s tourism and business travel landscape.
