EAU Delivers 379 Job-Ready Graduates to the Global Aviation Industry
Emirates Aviation University (EAU) has marked a major milestone in aviation education with the graduation of 379 students during its 36th graduation ceremony, reinforcing its reputation as a leading pipeline of skilled aviation and technology professionals.
To date, more than 26,500 students have graduated from EAU, with the university recording an impressive 94 per cent employability rate, highlighting its strong alignment with industry needs.
His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, and Chancellor of EAU, conferred certificates on the graduates.
He praised the graduating class for their readiness to contribute to an industry shaped by digital transformation and innovation, noting that their achievements reflect EAU’s commitment to advancing a sector vital to global progress and prosperity.
The ceremony, held at the EAU campus in Dubai, was attended by senior Emirates Group executives, university leadership, faculty members, as well as families and friends of the graduates.
Vice-Chancellor of Emirates Aviation University, Professor Ahmad Al Ali, said the graduating cohort demonstrated the depth of talent developed at the institution.
He emphasised that EAU’s programmes are designed in close collaboration with the aviation and technology sectors to ensure graduates leave with industry-relevant skills and a forward-looking mindset.
Students graduated from a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, including aviation management, aeronautical engineering, aircraft maintenance engineering, logistics and supply chain management, aviation safety and security, and related disciplines critical to the aviation ecosystem.
Of the 379 graduates, 296 completed bachelor’s degrees and 83 earned postgraduate qualifications. The cohort included 121 UAE nationals, while 28 engineering students were fully sponsored by Emirates Engineering. The university also recognised 20 outstanding students across various disciplines for exemplary academic performance.
As part of the Emirates Group, EAU continues to offer strong industry exposure. In 2025 alone, the Group trained 130 EAU interns, adding to more than 3,000 students who have benefited from internship placements at Emirates and dnata over the years.
EAU’s holistic education model combines academic excellence with practical learning, research engagement and industry collaboration. Students recently showcased innovative engineering and artificial intelligence projects through the NextGen Leaders Programme during the Dubai Airshow 2025, gaining valuable exposure at one of the world’s premier aviation events.
