Emirates Closes 2025 with Five New Global Awards
Emirates has rounded off 2025 with another impressive set of international accolades, securing five major honours at the 32nd World Travel Awards held in Bahrain. The airline, which has collected more than 20 awards throughout the year, was once again recognised for its exceptional service, premium travel experience and global brand leadership.
At the ceremony, Emirates received top titles including World’s Leading Airline Brand 2025, World’s Leading Airline Inflight Entertainment, and World’s Leading Airline – First Class. Its First Class Lounge at Dubai International Airport also earned the award for World’s Leading Airline Lounge – First Class, while Emirates Skywards was named World’s Leading Airline Rewards Programme 2025.
The recognition adds to a long list of industry honours Emirates has secured this year. In November, the airline was voted Best Airline in the World for the eighth year running at the ULTRAs travel awards.
It also won Best Premium Economy Class and a Lifetime Achievement Award for Services to Global Aviation presented to Sir Tim Clark. Aviation Business Middle East named Emirates Airline of the Year and Best First Class of the Year.
Further accolades came from the Forbes Travel Guide Verified Air Travel Awards 2025, where Emirates won Best International Airline, Best International First Class, and Best International Airline Lounge.
The airline was also named Best Long-Haul Airline at The Times and The Sunday Times Travel Awards, while Sir Tim Clark received the Distinguished Achievement Award from the Wings Club Foundation.
In September, Emirates earned two major awards at the APEX/IFSA Global EXPO in Long Beach, California, including the 2026 APEX Best Global Entertainment Award for its inflight entertainment system, ice, and a 2026 APEX World Class Award for overall customer experience.
Earlier in the year, the airline was honoured at the Business Traveller Middle East Awards with titles such as Best Airline Worldwide for the 12th consecutive year, along with awards for Best First Class, Best Premium Economy Class, and Best Airport Lounge in the Middle East.
Emirates’ strong performance in 2025 reinforces its position as a global leader in aviation, celebrated for innovation, premium service and consistent excellence across its fleet and customer experience.
