Emirates and flydubai Strengthen Global Connectivity and Reward Travellers

The partnership between Emirates and flydubai continues to set a benchmark in airline collaboration, connecting millions of passengers across a combined network while offering enhanced rewards through the Emirates Skywards loyalty programme.

The alliance now spans 245 destinations across 103 countries. Emirates passengers can access an additional 103 flydubai destinations, while flydubai customers can reach 107 Emirates destinations.

Popular routes include Kathmandu, Baku, Krabi, Belgrade and Zanzibar. In 2025, Emirates added Hangzhou, Shenzhen, Siem Reap and Da Nang, while flydubai launched services to Chisnau, Iasi, Vilnius, Riga and Nairobi.

Passenger numbers on codeshare flights exceeded five million in the past year, marking a 10 per cent increase from the previous year. Since 2017, over 22 million travellers have flown across the joint network. Demand for Emirates’ premium cabins—First Class, Business Class and Premium Economy—rose by 20 per cent, with Premium Economy bookings under the partnership increasing by 130 per cent.

The collaboration also ensures seamless travel experiences, including streamlined check-in, baggage transfers, optimised schedules, and Terminal 3 access for Emirates. flydubai Business Class passengers benefit from enhanced services at Terminal 2, including Meet and Assist, Fast Track security, and dedicated check-in.

Emirates Skywards continues to reward loyalty, with nearly 18 million members earning 311 billion Skywards Miles and redeeming 303 billion Miles. Members enjoy benefits such as lounge access, additional baggage allowance, and priority check-in.

The newly introduced Classic Rewards allow members to book flights from as low as 5,000 Skywards Miles, while the Cash+Miles option provides additional value, with 3,500 Miles equating to AED 100 off a flydubai ticket.

Both airlines have invested in fleet upgrades. Emirates is retrofitting nearly 220 aircraft, including new Premium Economy cabins, while flydubai has modernised 15 aircraft and introduced a dedicated Business Class check-in area at Terminal 2. The combined Emirates and flydubai fleet totals 363 modern aircraft, supporting Dubai’s ambition of reaching 400 destinations under the D33 Economic Agenda.

Tickets can be booked via emirates.com, flydubai.com, the Emirates App, Emirates retail stores, contact centres, or through travel agents.
